Indian economy is growing so fast and as a result, a better tax structure is needed for the Indian economy. There are a lot of changes happened in the past years and the overall impact of indirect taxes is different in the Indian economy. The objective of the research is to bring out all the positive impacts of indirect taxes as well as GST on the Indian economy. Undoubtedly, GST has the biggest and most remarkable impact on the Indian economy. This paper covers the detailed discussion on indirect taxes and GST.
